Wecitizens Foundation is tucked away at House No 330 in JJ Colony, Block B. Getting to the office involves climbing up to the 4th floor, so there are quite a few stairs to deal with every single morning. It gets really busy around this part of town because Mangal Bazzar Chowk is right there. You can hear all the noise from the market throughout the day, especially on those days when the main bazaar is fully set up. We’ve been based in this part of New Delhi for a while now. The 110033 pin code area is where we spend most of our time. Our office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a couple of plain rooms where we get our daily work done. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, or the water delivery is running late, but that is just how things go in this neighborhood. We see plenty of people from the colony coming by. It gets a bit crowded in the hallways sometimes. There isn't a big sign out front, just our address written on the door. It feels like a real part of the community because it actually is. Most of us who work here live nearby or take the local bus. We usually just sit around the main table and figure out the day's tasks while the street sounds come through the open windows. It’s a practical, simple space for us.
