Our spot is over in the DDA Flats in Kalkaji, specifically on the second floor of 109/J1. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs but it works for what we do at Voith Siemens Hydro Power. New Delhi is a huge place, but this corner of the city feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We focus on the hydro power side of things here. It’s a mix of different expertise because of the names on the door. You’ll find people here working on turbine details or checking through project schedules for various dams and power sites. The office is pretty lived-in. We have files everywhere and the tea guy comes around a few times a day which keeps us going. It isn't a showroom; it's where the actual planning happens. Sometimes the traffic in Delhi makes it hard for people to visit, but we are usually here from early morning till late. We don't spend much on big signs or flashy lights. We just keep our heads down and work through the technical requirements for the energy sector. It’s a lot of coordination between the hydro teams and the local authorities. Most of us have been in this industry for years, so we know the drill. It’s steady work and we like being in this part of town where things feel real.
