Vishwa Rural Health Care Foundation

Our office is over in Safdarjung, at C-2/52 on the second floor. It’s a nice enough part of South West Delhi. Vishwa Rural Health Care Foundation isn't a huge operation. We are just a few people working out of this space, trying to stay organized. The building is a bit older, but it has character. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working at our desks. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in fancy clothes. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of tea, and that’s just how it goes. New Delhi is a big city, but our corner of Safdarjung feels like a small community. We know the guy who sells snacks on the corner and the postman knows us by name. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a lot of extra space, so we have to keep things tidy. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. Most days are pretty much the same—just working through whatever comes our way. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do. If you find yourself in the 110016 zip code, you’re in our neck of the woods. We don't do much in the way of advertising; we just stay busy with the work at hand.
