Vikas Auto Parts

Our shop is tucked away on the second floor of Amar Colony in Lajpat Nagar Iv. If you go to A 75, you will find us surrounded by shelves of heavy metal and plastic bits. Vikas Auto Parts has been sourcing things for a long time now. People come in looking for specific nuts, bolts, or engine parts that they cannot find anywhere else in the neighborhood. It is dusty and there is always a bit of black grease on the counters, but that is how a parts shop should be. We spend a lot of time looking through thick catalogs and checking our inventory on the old computer. Sometimes the delivery truck is late because of the traffic and we have to tell customers to come back tomorrow morning. It is a small space, so things get stacked up pretty high towards the ceiling. Most of our day is spent helping local mechanics or car owners who are trying to fix something themselves in their driveway. Lajpat Nagar is always crowded, so getting parts in and out can be a real headache for the drivers. We have been at this address for a bit and know most of the regulars by their first names. It is not a shiny showroom with bright lights. It is just a place where we sell the things that keep cars running on the road. We try to keep prices fair and the stock moving. If we do not have it in the back, we usually know exactly where to find it.
