Vihan International

Shahpur Jat is a maze. If you know 5-L, then you know it's not the easiest place to find if it's your first time. Vihan International is right there in the thick of it. The lanes are narrow, and you often have to squeeze past parked scooters or people carrying rolls of fabric. Our space is just a regular room with high ceilings. It gets a bit cold in the winter months because the stone walls hold the chill. We have been here for a while now. The neighborhood has changed a lot, with new cafes popping up, but our bit of the street still feels like the old village. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. There is a small window that looks out onto the wall of the next building, so we don't get much of a view, but the light is okay in the mornings. We keep the paperwork in old metal cupboards that creak when you open them. It's not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. It's just where we work. Usually, there's a lot of talking going on because someone is always coordinating something. At lunch, we usually just eat at our desks or go find something quick nearby. It’s a busy life in a small space.
