Variety Arts Emporium

Variety Arts Emporium is located at 27 Sunder Nagar Market. It’s a nice little corner of the city. Our shop is filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected or brought in over time. It’s not perfectly organized like a modern department store; it’s more of a place where you have to look around to see what catches your eye. We spend our days dusting things off and talking to the people who wander in from the market. Some are looking for something specific, while others are just killing time. We don’t push anyone to buy anything. We’d rather people just appreciate the work that went into the items we have. Sunder Nagar has a certain feel to it, and we think our shop fits right in. We deal with a lot of different materials—wood, metal, fabric—and each piece has its own little history. Sometimes we spend hours just rearranging the shelves to make room for something new. It’s a slow-paced kind of business compared to the big malls. We enjoy the quiet moments when we can just look at the stock and think about where it came from. It’s just us here, keeping the shop open and seeing who stops by. We aren't interested in being a big chain. We like the way things are at number 27. It feels right for us and for the folks who visit.
