Universal Mould & Tools. Okhla Phase III. We are in the Flatted Factory Complex, F-284 on the second floor. It’s a big building with a lot of different businesses. You can hear the hum of machines from the other floors all day long. We have our own machines for making moulds. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots. We try to keep it tidy but when you're working with tools, it stays messy. We’ve been in Okhla for a long time. It’s an industrial life. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. The second floor gets a bit stuffy in the summer. We have big fans going all the time. Lunch is usually brought from home and we eat together in the small area near the back window. You can see the other factory roofs from there. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking the steel. It’s hard work on your hands. We aren't big on meetings, we just talk over the noise of the machines. The guys know exactly what they’re doing. It’s a steady rhythm every day. We just focus on getting the parts right. There's a radio playing somewhere in the background usually. It's just a hard-working shop where we do our best with the metal.
