Our place is right in the heart of the Okhla Industrial Area. It is a big manufacturing unit where we put together industrial plants. The road outside is usually full of trucks and people moving crates. Inside the gate, the yard is often filled with steel pipes and large metal tanks that are halfway finished. It is a noisy environment with the sound of hammers and heavy machinery going all day long. We have a small office near the entrance where the fans are always spinning to keep the humidity away. The blueprints are spread out over several tables, often with tea rings on the edges because we are always working through our breaks. We do not have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you will probably find us in our overalls or sitting at a dusty desk checking the supply lists. Okhla is a tough place to work because of the heat and the constant movement, but it suits what we do. We have been at this for years, and the building shows its age with some cracks in the floor and paint peeling off the walls. But the machines inside are what matter. We focus on getting the structures built right and loaded onto the trailers for delivery. It is a straightforward operation without any unnecessary extras or corporate polish. We just focus on the engineering.
