Unitack Dials Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of D-18/4 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-II for a long time. This part of Okhla is always buzzing with energy and there are trucks everywhere you look. Our building is just like many others on the street, but inside we are focused on making dials for all sorts of instruments. It is the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and a steady hand. The lighting inside has to be bright so we can see the small details on the pieces we are working on. We have a few older machines that still run great, alongside some newer ones we picked up over the years. The staff here has been together for a while, so we are like a small family. We eat lunch together and complain about the traffic on the way in. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important to have dials that actually work right. The floor is usually covered in little scraps of metal or plastic by the end of the shift. We clean it up and start over again the next morning. It is a very regular, honest way to make a living in a big city like this. Most of the people around here have been doing this for decades too.
