Udc Architects

Our place, Udc Architects, is located at 325 Dhankar Niwas on Ignou Road. It’s right there near Bangla Chowk in Saket. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it can get pretty crowded, especially with all the students and residents around here. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It is a bit of an older spot, but it suits us just fine. We spend most of our hours drafting and talking about buildings. It isn't always glamorous work. Sometimes it is just figuring out where a pipe should go or how to make a small room feel a bit bigger. We are regular people who happen to be good at architecture. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up from a desk when someone walks in. Saket is a good home base for us because we can get to different parts of the city relatively easily, though the traffic near Bangla Chowk can be a nightmare in the evenings. The walk up to the office usually involves saying hello to a few neighbors. Inside, we have maps of Saket and other parts of Delhi pinned up because we are always looking at different plots. Our desks are covered in pens, rulers, and half-empty water bottles. We aren't trying to win any awards for the cleanest office, that's for sure. We just focus on getting the lines straight and the measurements right. It’s a very honest way to do business.
