U. S. Grains Council

You can find us at F 21 in the Jangpura Extension area of New Delhi. It’s a pretty quiet residential spot compared to the rest of the city, which makes it a decent place to get some work done. At U. S. Grains Council, we spend a lot of our time on the phone or dealing with shipments and trade details related to different types of grain. It might sound a bit dry to most people, but it’s what we know. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of staff members. It’s just a handful of us in this office making sure things go where they are supposed to. We deal with farmers and buyers, trying to make sure the supply chain doesn't break down. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, and there are days when the logistics just don't want to cooperate. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a big public face. We just focus on the grain and the people who need it. Most of the neighbors probably just think we are another quiet office on the block. We like it that way. It’s practical work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve been in Jangpura for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s a good base for us to handle the trade stuff without too much distraction from the outside world or the busy city streets.
