Our office is up on the third floor, room 302, in Harsh Bhawan over at Nehru Place. If you’ve ever been to Nehru Place, you know it’s a whirlwind of people and electronics. We’re a bit tucked away from all that noise. We deal with lifting and safety gear, the kind of stuff used on big construction sites or in factories. It’s serious equipment, and we treat it that way. We don’t have a flashy setup. It’s mostly desks, filing cabinets, and a few samples of the gear we provide. The staff here spends a lot of time on the phone or responding to emails about load capacities and safety standards. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing with fancy retreats or mission statements on the walls. We just want to make sure the equipment people are using to lift heavy things is up to the task. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we get a bit of exercise coming up to the office. We’ve been in this location for quite a while and we like being in such a central spot, even if the parking is a nightmare. Most of our days are spent checking orders and making sure the logistics side of things is moving along. We just focus on the details of the gear and try to be helpful when people have questions. It’s steady work and we’re glad to be doing it.
