The Women'S Clinic

The Women'S Clinic is at C-66 on the ground floor in Gautam Nagar in Delhi. The pin code is 110049 if you are looking it up on a map. Gautam Nagar is a very tight area with narrow streets and lots of people moving around at all hours. Finding a place to park your scooter or car near the clinic can be a real challenge sometimes. We are right on the ground floor which is helpful for anyone who finds it hard to walk up stairs. The clinic itself is not very large but we make use of every inch we have. We have a small desk for the person who handles the appointments and a row of chairs against the wall. The walls are covered with a few charts and some basic instructions for visitors. We get a lot of light from the front door during the day. The ceiling fan is a bit old and makes a clicking noise when it is on the highest speed. We spend a lot of our time answering the phone and writing names down in our daily book. It is a busy little spot and things can get a bit crowded when three or four people arrive at the same time. We keep a water cooler in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. Most of the people who come here live just a few streets away so it feels very local and familiar to us.
