The Wedding Film Makers

We are tucked away in Malviya Nagar, specifically Shop Number 6 at 90/37 A. We are quite close to the Geeta Mandir Main Market, so there are always people walking by our door. We film weddings. It is a lot of long hours and carrying heavy cameras around. We are not those big corporate production houses; we are just a small group that likes capturing the day. Most of our work is spent editing in the office here after the wedding is over. It takes a long time to go through all the footage. We do not use fancy scripts or try to make things look like a movie. We just record what happens. Sometimes the lighting is bad or a guest is dancing too close to the lens, but that is part of a real wedding. We started out just doing photos, but then everyone wanted video too. Malviya Nagar is a good base for us because it is central. We meet couples here and show them some of the work we have done before. We do not promise anything magical, just a decent video of the day that you can watch later. We try to keep our gear in good shape and stay out of the way during the ceremony. It is a busy job, especially during the winter months when everyone in Delhi seems to be getting married. We just keep our batteries charged and our cameras ready for the next one.
