We’ve been here at No. 7/7 in the Old Double Storey area of Lajpat Nagar-4 for quite a while now. Most people know the spot because it's a bit tucked away but we like it that way. It stays quiet enough to get work done. Dealing with instruments isn't always the easiest thing because there are so many small parts and calibrations to keep track of every single day. We spend a lot of our time just checking things over and making sure everything is sitting where it should be. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered with boxes and papers, but we know where everything is. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone hunched over a desk looking at a gauge or writing down some numbers. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have some old chairs and the floor has seen better days, but it works for us. Lajpat Nagar is always busy, especially on the weekends, but our corner stays pretty steady. We usually start the day early with some tea and then get right into the inventory. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the neighborhood. Other days, it’s a rush to get things packed up. We don’t do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just hear about us from someone else who stopped by before. It’s just how we’ve always handled things here. It's a simple life.
