Our company, Tasar Silk Pvt. Ltd., is based at C-24B in Gautam Nagar, right by Father Angel’s School. Being in this neighborhood means we aren't surrounded by factories, which is a bit of a change for this kind of business. We’ve got a modest setup here. It’s not a place with a lot of chrome and glass. It’s more about the fabrics and the samples we have lying around everywhere. We spend a lot of time looking at materials and making sure the quality is what it needs to be. It’s a hands-on job, and we all get our hands dirty from time to time. We don't have a big HR department or a PR team. It’s just us, the people who actually do the work. The building itself is older, and we’ve had to make some adjustments over the years to keep things efficient. We don’t really bother with big sales pitches. Usually, our work speaks for itself, and people find us through word of mouth. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big deadline, and other times we’re out the door right on time. It’s a practical, straightforward way of running things. We appreciate the quietness of Gautam Nagar compared to the main roads. It lets us focus on what we’re doing without too much distraction. We just take things as they come and try to keep everything organized. It's a lot of manual sorting but we don't mind the effort.
