Tannishtha Pet Clinic

Our clinic is tucked away at House Number 17L in the Bhati Mines area of Chattarpur. If you’re looking for us, we’re near the Marble City and Chandanholla. It’s a bit of a dusty part of town, so there’s always a bit of grit on the doorstep no matter how much we sweep. Working with animals means the place is rarely silent. We get dogs barking, cats hissing, and the occasional bird that isn't happy about being in a cage. The exam table is made of cold metal, so we usually put a towel down so the pets don't get spooked. My clothes usually have a bit of fur on them by lunchtime. It’s just the nature of the job. We have shelves full of medicine and bags of pet food stacked in the corner. People in Chattarpur bring their pets to us for all sorts of things, from basic shots to more serious stuff. We don’t use fancy medical terms if we can help it; we just tell the owners what’s going on with their furry friends. Sometimes a dog will track mud all over the floor right after we’ve mopped, but we just laugh it off. It’s a practical place for people who care about their animals. We’re here most days, dealing with wagging tails and the occasional scratch, just trying to keep the local pets healthy and happy. We also try to make sure the waiting area isn’t too cramped for different types of animals.
