S.V.A.P. Sterling Co-Operation

You can find S.V.A.P. Sterling Co-Operation over at K-101 B in Lajpat Nagar. We are right in the middle of Central Market, Part-II, so it’s always loud and crowded outside our door. Inside, it’s a bit calmer, though we have stuff piled up on every available surface. We deal with various metal items and small parts, so there’s often a bit of a metallic smell in the air. My desk is covered in papers and sample pieces that I really should organize one day. We’ve been in this building for quite some time, and the walls have plenty of scuffs from moving boxes in and out. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that brings us chai three times a day, which is the highlight of the morning. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If a customer comes in, they usually have to wait a minute while we find what they need in the back. The electricity is a bit patchy in this part of the market, so we keep some torches handy just in case. It’s a busy, cramped way to work, but we are used to the rhythm of the market. We just show up every morning and get on with whatever needs doing. We don't worry about being fancy, just getting through the list.
