Our shop is tucked away in Ramesh Market, specifically at Shop No 198/8. If you know where M Cinema is in East of Kailash, you can find us pretty easily. It’s a busy area, so there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the traffic. We deal with glass and plywood every single day. The back of the shop is usually filled with crates and stacks of wood that we move around to make space. It’s a hands-on kind of place. Most days, you’ll find us measuring sheets or talking to carpenters who come in looking for specific sizes. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time. The floors are usually covered in sawdust by noon, and we try to sweep it up when things slow down. It’s not a showroom where everything is shiny and perfect. It’s a working warehouse where people come to get what they need for their homes or construction sites. We know the other shopkeepers around here well. We drink chai from the stall at the corner and keep an eye on each other’s places. When someone asks for a specific type of glass, we just go into the stacks and find it. It’s straightforward work. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales team. It’s just us here at the shop from morning until we close up for the night. We handle the heavy lifting ourselves and make sure the measurements are right before anyone leaves.
