Our office is over in Hauz Khas, specifically at D-68 on the second floor. Sunmei Hotel Management is a name we’ve been using for a while now to run things in the hospitality world here in India. Being in Central Delhi puts us right in the middle of everything, which is mostly good but the traffic can be a real headache. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the management side of things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone with various properties, making sure they have what they need to keep running. It’s a lot of boring admin work, checking spreadsheets, and making sure the staff at the hotels are doing okay. Sometimes we have meetings that go on for way too long, but that’s just part of the job. We chose Hauz Khas because it's a known spot and easy for people to find us if they really need to. It’s not always glamorous, despite what people think about hotel management. Most days it’s just us trying to solve problems before guests even notice them. We have a small team here who have been with us for a while. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing. We just show up, do the work, and go home. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but it keeps us moving and helps us stay active throughout the day.
