Our office is located at 43 Nehru Place, in Chiranjiv Tower, room 401. If you’ve ever been to Nehru Place, you know it’s a madhouse of electronics and people everywhere. We are Sunflag Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. Even though we deal with heavy things like iron and steel, this office is where the paperwork and the planning happen. It’s a busy spot. We have phones ringing all the time and people coming in for meetings. The carpets are a bit worn out in the hallways of the tower. We’ve been in this building for many years. You can see the city skyline from some of the windows if you lean over the desks. It’s a lot of talk about tonnages and delivery schedules. We don't have a lot of space, so files are stacked up on the floor sometimes. It’s a real working office, not a showpiece. We eat lunch at our desks most days because there’s so much to get through. The elevators in Chiranjiv Tower have their moods, so we sometimes take the stairs. It’s just how it is working in an old commercial hub like this. We deal with various plants and sites from this central point. It keeps us on our toes. We just try to keep the wheels turning for the company. There’s always another fax or email coming in that needs attention right away. We stay until everything is logged and sorted.
