Sumohit Creations

We are located over at Sriniwas Puri on the first and second floors of the O-9 building. Sumohit Creations is mostly just us working with fabrics and patterns all day. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow so moving big rolls of cloth can be a real pain sometimes. It gets quite loud when all the machines are running at once. We do a lot of cutting and stitching here. The light on the first floor is better in the mornings which is when we try to do the more detailed work. By the afternoon the whole place is usually a mess with thread and scraps of fabric all over the floor. We don't really have a big showroom or anything like that. People just come up to see what we are making or to check on their orders. It is a busy spot and we are usually tucked away behind piles of material. My desk is right by the window but there isn't much of a view, just the other buildings and the street below. We have been in this part of Sriniwas Puri for some time now. Some days are slower than others but mostly we just keep our heads down and get the sewing done. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands get tired by the end of the shift. But that is just how it is in this business and we are used to it.
