Sumit International (P) Ltd. is located on the first floor over in Lajpat Nagar III. If you know New Delhi, you know how busy this area gets with all the shops and people moving around all the time. Our office is at C 13, and it is a pretty standard setup for a business like ours. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and phone calls that come with international trade or whatever the current project requires. It’s usually quite noisy outside with the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do our work properly. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep if you aren't expecting it. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have been here since we started. It’s not the kind of place with fancy coffee machines or glass walls. We just drink tea from the stall downstairs and keep at it. Sometimes the internet acts up, or the power goes for a bit, but we just wait it out and get back to work. Living and working in Delhi means you learn to be patient with those kinds of things. We just keep things simple and try to finish what we started by the end of the day. There is no point in complicating things when a simple approach works just fine for us.
