I’ve got my workspace on the first floor at E-1 in Greater Kailash Enclave-1. It’s a good neighborhood, and I’ve been around here for quite some time. I handle both architecture and interior design, which keeps me pretty busy most days. The office is full of old folders, rulers, and a few dusty models of buildings I worked on years ago. It’s not the most organized place, but I know where everything is. I spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or arguing with contractors about why a wall isn't straight. That's just how the business goes. I don't really do the whole marketing thing. Most people find me because they saw something I did for a neighbor. I like the challenge of taking a regular room in an old GK house and turning it into something that feels new. It’s a lot of measuring and then measuring again because you can't always trust the old plans. Sometimes I work late into the night when it's quiet. It’s a steady life and I enjoy the work, even when it’s stressful. I try to keep the designs simple and useful. There’s no point in making something that looks good but doesn't work for the people living there. I just try to be practical and honest about what can be done within the budget we have. It is mostly about getting the details right without overthinking things.
