Our place, Stitch Craft India Private Limited, is up on the first floor of GB-78. We are right there in Bharat Vihar, Lakkarpur, near the Pul Pahladpur area. Being near the Badarpur Metro Station is actually really helpful because the trains are always going by and it makes it easy for people to find the general area. It’s a busy part of Badarpur. Inside the shop, there is always the constant sound of machines. We deal with a lot of fabric and thread. It can get pretty messy with scraps all over the floor by the afternoon, but we clean up before we head home. We aren't some massive corporation with suits and ties. We are just people who know how to sew and put things together. The lighting isn't always the brightest, but we make it work. Most of us have been doing this for years, so our hands just know what to do without thinking too much about it. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor feel a bit steep after a long shift. We get a lot of local folks stopping by to ask about work or orders. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or anything like that. The quality of what we finish is usually enough for people to tell their friends about us. That’s how we’ve stayed open this long in the Badarpur area. It’s just us doing the best we can.
