Stepin Together Foundation

If you’re looking for us, we’re at C-1-55 in Sangam Vihar. We’re on the ground floor, on the left side of the building. Sangam Vihar is a huge area, and it can be easy to get lost, but we’ve made this little corner our own. We aren't some big, faceless entity. We’re just a group of people who decided to start something here. Our office is pretty basic. We’ve got what we need to get the job done, but we didn’t spend a lot of money on decorations or fancy furniture. We’d rather put our resources into the actual work. Most days involve a lot of coordination and talking to the people who live nearby. We see a lot of different situations come through our door. Some are tough to deal with, and some are just everyday issues. We try to handle everything with a bit of common sense. We don’t have a script or a corporate handbook. We just talk to people like they’re our neighbors, because mostly, they are. The noise from the street usually drifts into the office, but we don’t mind it much. It reminds us why we’re here. It’s a busy life in Sangam Vihar, and we’re just glad to have a place where we can do our part. We aren't perfect, and we don't pretend to be. We just show up and do what we can with what we have. It’s just us at Stepin Together, working out of our ground floor spot.
