Working out of C-2, Yamuna Apartment, is a bit different than being in a big commercial block. Since we are right on the edge of New Delhi and Haryana, we get a mix of both worlds. The office is basically a converted apartment, so it has a bit of a homey feel to it, even with all the computers and filing cabinets everywhere. Ssjv Projects Pvt. Ltd. has been based here for some time now. It is a quiet area for the most part, which is nice when we have to go through project plans or long lists of numbers. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic, which suits us just fine. Most of our work happens over the phone or through emails anyway. Our team is small, just a few of us who have worked together for years. We know each other’s habits and how we like our tea. There is no dress code here, so you’ll usually see us in whatever is comfortable for the weather. We aren't big on meetings that last for hours; we usually just talk across the hallway. It is a very practical way to run things. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just take a break on the balcony until it comes back on. It’s a simple setup in 110062, and it works for the kind of projects we handle.
