Srikant Gupta Painting & Furniture Polish Works is basically just me and a couple of helpers working out of House No.B.91. We are located in Harsh Vihar, specifically in the Hari Nagar Part.3 area of New Delhi. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s usually quiet during the day while everyone is away at work. We keep our tools and all the polish supplies in a small shed behind the house. My family has been in this part of the city for a long time. The address says Haryana on some of the documents because we are right near the border, but we mostly handle jobs around 110044. We spend our days covered in dust and the smell of wood varnish. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a shop with a big display or anything like that. Most of our work happens at the customer’s house anyway. When we aren't out on a job, you can usually find us at the house cleaning our brushes or prepping for the next day. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. People just tell their neighbors about us when they need their chairs or tables fixed up. It’s a simple business. We try to be honest about how long things will take and what they will cost. Just a local service for local people who need things done right. We don't even have a website or anything, just this house and our tools to keep us busy.
