Spy Star

Spy Star is located right near the Golchakker at Crown Plaza in Okhla Phase 1. If you know the Mazdoor Kalyan Camp area, we are tucked away in a spot that’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. We deal with various security gadgets and cameras. It's not a glamorous job like you see in the movies. Mostly it’s just us sitting around boxes of wires, lenses, and small electronic parts. The office is usually a bit cluttered with manuals and spare bits of hardware. We spend a lot of time explaining how the recorders work to people who aren't very tech-savvy. It gets quite dusty around here because of all the construction and traffic in Okhla. We have a small crew and we usually eat lunch together while talking about whatever new piece of tech just arrived. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken device they’ve had for years, and we try to see if it can be fixed. It’s practical work. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy. It’s a bit of a maze getting here through the camp streets, but we like the location. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything. We just do our thing with the electronics and try to keep things simple for everyone. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just take a short break.
