We are located over at E-342 in Gali No.07, right in the heart of Sangam Vihar. If you know New Delhi-110062, you know how crowded these lanes can get. Getting a truck down the gali takes some patience and a lot of shouting, but we have done it a thousand times by now. Our days are filled with the sound of mixing machines and hammers. Soho Construction Ltd. isn't doing anything high-tech, just basic, honest work. We spend our time looking at foundations and making sure the walls are straight. The office is just a place to keep the files and have a cup of tea while we wait for the next delivery. Most of the guys on the crew live nearby, so we are a local bunch. We don't use big words or fancy brochures. People usually hear about us from their neighbors. It is a tough business because the dust gets everywhere and your clothes never stay clean, but we like being active. Every project has its own set of problems, like narrow spaces or old pipes, but we just deal with them one by one. We have been in Sangam Vihar long enough to know the shortcuts and where to get the best supplies. It is just us, a few tools, and a lot of hard work every single day, trying to build things that last for the people living in this neighborhood.
