Our office is tucked away in Dakshinpuri Extension, which is part of the Dr. Ambedkar Nagar area in New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this part of South Delhi, you know how crowded the lanes can get. Siaram Sales has been operating from this 4/259 address for a while now. We deal with sales and distribution, so there’s always someone on the phone arguing about a delivery or a payment. It’s a noisy environment, mostly because we’re right near the street. The office itself is quite functional; we have desks, some old computers, and stacks of invoices that never seem to go away. We drink a lot of chai here to keep going, especially during the long afternoons. My partner handles the outdoor meetings while I stay back to manage the staff and the walk-ins. We aren't some big shiny firm with a glass front. We’re just a group of people working hard in a busy Delhi neighborhood. Sometimes the air conditioner fails during a heatwave, and we all just have to suffer through it together. We handle a lot of different products, and keeping the inventory straight in the computer is a constant battle.
