We are Shorewala Initiatives For Rural & Urbansustainability Foundation. We sit in House No -50, Narmada Apartment, right in Alaknanda. It's a busy part of South Delhi near Kalkaji. The office is basically just a place where we get things done every day. Sometimes it’s a bit crowded with papers and chairs, but we make it work. Living and working around here means dealing with the traffic and the local markets. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside the apartment building. People come and go. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. We've been at this address for a while now. Most people around Kalkaji know the Narmada building. It's got that old Delhi residential feel to it. We keep things pretty simple. There isn't a lot of fluff here. If you walk up to the house, you’ll see our small sign. The neighborhood is full of trees and cars parked everywhere. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We spend our mornings checking emails and the afternoons figuring out what needs to happen next. It's a steady pace. No one is trying to be too formal. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. It’s just us here at the foundation, trying to keep the lights on and do the work we set out to do.
