Shoots Shoots Academy

We started Shoots Shoots Academy at L 2 in Jangpura Extension because we noticed a lot of people wanted to learn how to use their cameras properly. It’s not a huge school with hundreds of classrooms. It’s more of a hands-on space where we show you how things work. We spend a lot of time just practicing. You’ll find us here most days, talking about lighting or how to frame a shot better. We aren't trying to be the most famous academy in the city. We just like what we do. The area in Jangpura is quiet enough for us to focus. Sometimes the sessions go long because we get caught up in a project, but nobody seems to mind much. We have different levels for people who are just starting out and others who have been doing it for a while. It’s a bit informal. You don't need to wear a suit or anything. Just bring your gear and a bit of patience. Learning takes time, and we don't rush it. We’ve had all sorts of people come through our doors. It’s good to see them get better. We just keep things moving and try to make sure everyone learns something useful they can actually use the next time they take a photo. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here and we like it that way. No big speeches, just photography and some hard work.
