Shimozuki Trading Pvt. Ltd.

We are located at C-92 in Defence Colony. It’s a bit different from the usual industrial zones since it’s a quieter residential neighborhood with nice trees. We run Shimozuki Trading Pvt. Ltd. from here. The office is basically a converted space that feels more like a house than a corporate headquarters. We don't have big signs outside. Most of the day is spent handling emails and tracking shipments on the computer. Since it’s a trading business, there are always papers flying around and folders stacked up on the tables. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all just take a break until it comes back. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for sitting at a desk all day. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own coffee and tea. It’s nice being in this part of town because it’s not as chaotic as the main markets. You can actually hear the birds outside sometimes. We stay pretty focused on our daily logs and making sure the accounts are clear. Dealing with suppliers takes up a lot of our time, so there’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone. It’s just a regular group of people doing their jobs. We try to finish up by six so everyone can get home before the traffic gets really bad and the streets get crowded.
