If you find yourself in Malviya Nagar, our office is at L 86A. It’s a typical South Delhi spot where space is tight and everything is close together. We share the building with a few other things, so the stairs are always busy with people coming and going. Inside the office, we’ve tried to make the most of the room we have. There are desks crammed into corners and stacks of folders on every flat surface. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find modern art or designer chairs. We have some plastic chairs for guests and a big table where we spread out the drawings. The lighting is a bit bright and industrial, but it helps when we’re working late. Being in New Delhi, the air can get pretty thick, so we keep the windows shut and the fans going all day. You can hear the sounds of the market and the cars honking outside constantly. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't local, but it’s home for us. We know all the guys who deliver food in the neighborhood, and they know us by name now. It’s a grounded place. We don’t care about being polished; we just want to make sure the numbers add up and the projects stay on track. It is just a bunch of us working.
