Our place, Sgma Salon and Academy, is tucked away in Safdarjung Enclave in South Delhi. We are at B-7/111-B, right on the first floor. It is a pretty good spot because it is easy to get to, and the neighborhood is usually quite active. Since we run both a salon and an academy, there is always something happening. You might see someone getting a haircut in one corner while someone else is learning how to do it in another. It’s a hands-on kind of environment. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just the workspace where the real work happens. The first floor is convenient so you don't have to wait for an elevator that might be slow. We’ve put in some work to make the space functional for teaching and for regular salon clients. It gets busy on weekends, as you can imagine. Safdarjung is a nice area to work in, though parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes if you arrive at the wrong hour. We’ve been here for a bit now, getting to know the locals and the regulars who come in. The interior is simple. We focus more on the tools and the training than on having expensive decorations. If you are in the 110029 zip code area, you’ve probably passed by our street at some point. It’s just a normal local business run by people who know their trade and keep things moving.
