Servo Electronics is over in Okhla Phase-2, at the Dsidc Complex, units 83-84. This part of Delhi is always moving and shaking. There are people everywhere and the sound of machines is never far off. Our space is spread across two units, so we have a bit more room to breathe, but it still gets cluttered very easily. We do a lot of assembly and checking here. The floor is grey concrete, and we have long tables where the electronics are laid out for inspection. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there is always some scrap wire or bits of plastic lying around. We try to sweep up at the end of the day, but by the next morning, it’s back to how it was before. The staff usually takes a break together in the afternoon. We talk about the traffic or what’s happening in the neighborhood. Our windows look out onto the street, which is usually packed with parked bikes and delivery vans. It can be a bit chaotic outside, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We have a lot of old filing cabinets that probably should be replaced, but they still hold the papers fine so we keep them. It’s just a regular industrial unit. We aren't doing anything flashy, just making sure the orders are ready and the electronics are working like they should.
