Satya Shakti Foundation

Our spot is in DLF Prime Tower, specifically Dpt 519. Being in Okhla Phase-1 means things are a bit more industrial and business-like than other parts of the city. The tower has those big elevators and a lot of people coming and going all the time. Satya Shakti Foundation is just one of the many units in this building. We have a view of some other rooftops and the heavy traffic on the main road. The office is pretty small, just enough room for our computers and a small shelf for tea and biscuits. We spend most of the day at our desks. It’s a bit of a commute for most of us to get to Okhla, but we make it work somehow. The hallway outside is usually quiet, but you can hear the hum of the air conditioners from all the other offices. We don’t have fancy art on the walls, just a calendar and some notes taped up so we don’t forget what we’re doing. It feels like a very standard office space, nothing that stands out. We take our breaks in the common areas or sometimes go down to the street to find a quick bite from the vendors outside. It’s a lot of routine—turning on the lights, checking the mail, and sitting through the afternoon slump. We’re just a regular group of people trying to keep things running smoothly from our little corner on the fifth floor.
