Satija Paints & Sanitary Store is located at 23 Yusuf Sarai. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here with people moving back and forth all day. The shop is full of pipes, fittings, and plenty of paint buckets stacked up against the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside when we get a big shipment delivered, but we manage to get everything put away eventually. Yusuf Sarai has its own rhythm, and being at number 23 means we see a lot of that. We aren't doing anything out of the ordinary, just keeping the doors open and making sure the supplies are there when someone has a leak or wants to freshen up a room. There is always a layer of dust on the top shelves, no matter how much we try to keep it clean, but that’s just part of the job. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic, while other days it feels like everyone in the neighborhood needs something at the exact same time. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It is just a shop with a counter and a lot of stuff behind it. We just try to keep things simple and focus on the items we have in stock.
