Sashakt Development And Empowernment Foundation is based out of Malviya Nagar. You can find us at A-73, but you have to go around to the rear basement. It is not the kind of place that catches your eye from the main road. Malviya Nagar is a crowded area, so finding a spot for a car is almost impossible most days. The basement stays quite cool even when the Delhi sun is hitting hard outside, which is nice. We have some lights set up because it gets a bit dim back there. The entrance is just a simple door near the back alley. Most people who come to see us are locals who know the shortcuts through the blocks. It is a quiet corner compared to the main market area, which helps us get things done without too much distraction. We have a few chairs and a table where we sit and talk through things. It is pretty basic, no big decorations or anything. The neighborhood around A-73 is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down so we don't bother the families living upstairs. If you are looking for us, just head towards the back of the building and look for the stairs going down. It is a bit cramped but it serves us well enough for our daily routine. We usually have the kettle going for some chai if anyone stops by and wants to chat for a few minutes about what is going on.
