Sakshay International

Sakshay International is based out of C.R. Park in Kalkaji. We are at 40/115, a spot that has been our base for a good few years. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is a bit of a different vibe than a noisy industrial park. We work out of a relatively small space. It is mostly desks, computers, and tall stacks of files. We handle international trade and logistics. Dealing with paperwork is what we do for most of the day. It is a lot of phone calls and checking emails to see where things are. Sometimes the internet is slow and we all just have to sit and wait for pages to load. We aren't trying to be some huge global firm, just a local office doing our bit every day. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that is usually when we take a break and talk. Our office isn't particularly modern. We have old metal cabinets and folders everywhere. It looks like a real office where people actually work. It is not a showroom. Most of our clients never see the inside of our place because we do everything over the phone. We spend a lot of time talking to customs agents and shipping companies. Kalkaji is a busy area, so getting here in the morning can be a struggle with the traffic. We just try to get through the daily list of tasks. We stay late some nights when shipments get stuck.
