Sainiwas Charitable Foundation

If you know East of Kailash, you know it can be a bit of a maze. We are at B-162, on the third floor of the building. Being near Eden Hospital helps people find us pretty quickly since everyone knows where that is. It’s a good landmark to have. Sainiwas Charitable Foundation has been operating from here for a while now. The elevator is a bit finicky sometimes, so many of us just take the stairs to be safe. It keeps us moving. The office has a lot of windows, so we get some good light during the day. We can see the hospital traffic and the people coming and going from up here. New Delhi is always moving, isn't it? We just try to stay focused on what we have to do. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us. We share the space and the work. Sometimes we order food from the small place downstairs when we are too busy to go out. It’s a quiet building mostly, except for the sirens from the hospital. We don't do things the corporate way. If something needs to be fixed, we usually just handle it ourselves. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just know why we are here every morning. It’s about being there for people. We keep our files organized and try to stay on top of the requests. It’s just regular work in an East Delhi office.
