We operate out of a basement at B95 in Dayanand Colony, which is over in the Lajpat Nagar 4 area. Being in a basement in Delhi has its pros and cons, but it definitely keeps the noise of the main road away while we work. It’s a design house, so we have a lot of stuff tucked away in the corners—fabric samples, old portfolios, and boxes of various supplies. The lighting is all artificial, of course, but we’ve set it up so it’s easy on the eyes during those long afternoon shifts. We are a private limited company, but we don’t really act like a big corporation with lots of rules. It’s mostly just a tight-knit group of us working on various design projects throughout the week. The neighborhood is pretty lively, and there are some really good places nearby to grab a bite during our lunch breaks. We’ve been in this same spot for a while now and the landlord is a decent person, which is always a plus when you're renting in Delhi. Our desks are usually covered in sketches and handwritten notes because we are always in the middle of something new. We don't have a fancy website with stock photos; we prefer to just show people what we’ve actually made. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes we stay late to finish up, but that’s just how the business goes for us.
