Our office is tucked away at 40B, Pocket A 10, in the Kalkaji Extension area of New Delhi. If you have ever been to Kalkaji, you know it is a maze of narrow streets and constant activity. Finding a place to park is a nightmare every single morning, so most of us have given up and just take the metro or a rickshaw. The office itself is in a busy spot, and the sounds of the city are always present. We have a small space that is packed with everything we need. It’s a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The walls are lined with shelves that are overflowing with folders and old records. We aren't big on interior design; we just care that the computers work and the lights stay on. There is a chai wallah just down the street who knows our order by heart, which is a nice perk. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed despite the cramped quarters. We don't bother with formal dress codes or long, boring meetings. We just talk across the room to get things sorted. It’s a bit chaotic, especially when deliveries arrive and we have to stack boxes in the hallway, but that is just life in Delhi. It is an authentic way to work, surrounded by the energy of the neighborhood and the reality of a small business office. That's the daily life for us.
