Our office is tucked into Pocket C of Siddhartha Extension in New Delhi. It’s a bit of a quiet residential pocket compared to the rest of the city, which is nice when things get hectic. We are working on energy systems, though we aren't the ones out there fixing the big turbines every day from this specific spot. This is more where the management and the planning happens. It’s a regular building and we have some space on the ground floor. We spend most of our time looking at data and talking to the teams out in the field. There is a small park nearby where some of us go for a walk during lunch to get away from the computer screens. It’s a small group of us here and we’ve become pretty close over the years. We don't go in for all the corporate buzzwords you might expect from a big name. We just try to keep the projects moving forward without making a fuss. Sometimes the internet is slow or the water delivery is late, and we just deal with it like anyone else. It’s a practical office for practical people. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, just a small corner for making coffee and heating up our lunch boxes. It’s a decent place to spend the day working on the city's power needs.
