Renewed Grace

Our shop is over at 18 Gurunanak Market, which is right in the Lajpat Nagar 4 area. If you know where the Vikram Hotel is, we are very close to that spot, near National Park. It is a busy little corner of Delhi. We have been operating out of this market for quite some time now. The street can get pretty jammed with cars and rickshaws, but that is just how Lajpat Nagar is. Inside the shop, things are a bit more relaxed. We are a small team and we mostly just look after the people who live in the neighborhood. It is not a corporate chain or anything fancy. We have old chairs and some stuff we have collected over the years. Some days are really quiet, and we just drink tea and wait for the regulars to stop by. Other days, it feels like everyone in Delhi decided to visit the market at once. We do not spend much time on social media or making flyers. Usually, someone’s aunt or neighbor tells them to come see us, and that is how we stay busy. We like being near the park because it gives a bit of fresh air to the street. It is just a normal shop run by people who live nearby. We keep it simple and try to be honest with everyone who walks through the door. It is just our way of doing things in this part of town.
