Our shop is located at 955, Arjun Nagar, right on the main road of the Kotla Timber Market. If you’ve ever walked through this area, you know it smells like fresh cut wood and sawdust everywhere. Rajendra Plywood Industries (P) Ltd. has been around for years, and we’ve become a fixture in this neighborhood. The main road is always packed with trucks and carts moving sheets of plywood and timber around, so it’s a bit of a scramble to get things loaded sometimes. Our office is tucked in the front of the warehouse, surrounded by stacks of boards that reach almost to the ceiling. We don’t bother with fancy displays or polished sales pitches. Most of our customers are carpenters and contractors who know exactly what they want, so we just get straight to the point. The place is a bit dusty, which is unavoidable in the timber business, but we keep our stocks organized so we can find things quickly. We have a small crew here, and we usually spend our lunch breaks sitting together in the back. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just deal in plywood and try to keep our regulars happy. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear the phone, but we manage just fine. It’s a busy, honest life here in the middle of Kotla.
