R I International

Our office for R I International is up on the 4th Floor of a building in Kailash Hills. It’s part of the East of Kailash area. To get to us, you have to come up 213, and if the elevator is acting up, the stairs are quite a climb. We spend most of our time looking out at the rooftops of the neighborhood while we handle our paperwork. The office itself is pretty basic with some old metal cabinets and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It’s usually quiet up here compared to the street below, which is a nice change of pace. We deal with international matters, which means sometimes we are here at odd hours to catch people in different time zones. There is always a stack of documents waiting on someone's desk. We make our own coffee in the corner and the smell usually fills the whole room by mid-morning. It’s a small team, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. The space is a bit cluttered with samples and old files, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the Delhi heat makes it tough, but the old AC unit keeps things manageable. We just come in, do our work, and head home when the day is finished. It’s just a normal place to work.
