Pudumjee Pulp & Paper Mills Limited has an office at L-15 on the lower ground floor in South Extension Part II. It’s a well-known neighborhood, but being on the lower ground floor means we are tucked away from the main noise of the market. You have to walk down a few steps to get to us. The office is a bit quiet compared to the street outside where everyone is shopping. We handle a lot of the administrative side of the paper business from here. There are piles of samples and stacks of documents around most of the desks. It’s not the kind of place with modern glass walls or anything. It’s more traditional, with wooden desks and old-fashioned filing systems. We’ve been in South Ex for a long time, so we’ve seen the shops around us change many times over. The staff usually brings lunch from home, and we eat together in the small pantry area. It’s a simple routine. We check the orders, talk to the mills, and make sure the paperwork is correct. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office. It’s just a place where we come to work and do our jobs properly. Most of us live a fair distance away, so the metro is a big help for the daily commute. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years and it feels like home now.
