Our place is at 99/4 in Basti Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how narrow the lanes are and how much history is packed into every corner. It’s a very busy area near the shrine and the railway station. We do cargo care, which means we spend our time looking after shipments and figuring out the best way to get them moved. It’s a lot of manual work and checking details over and over. The office is tucked away in the Basti, and it can be a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't from around here. We like it though, it feels like part of the real city. There is always the smell of food from the local stalls and the sound of people everywhere. It’s not like those polished offices in Gurgaon. We have old furniture and the walls are covered with calendars and maps. We deal with all sorts of items, some going by air and some by sea. It’s a messy business sometimes, with a lot of phone calls to customs and warehouses. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a practical job and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just work hard in a very crowded part of town where things never really stop moving.
